Our Story
In 1988, Tibu and his wife began their homeownership journey in the Heights, a historic neighborhood in downtown Houston. They purchased a modest lime-green two-bedroom house built in the 1920s, which quickly became their labor of love. With a blue-collar job and five children, hiring professionals for repairs and upgrades wasn't an option. As my Pop would say, "They probably couldn't do it right anyway."
Through relentless determination and sweat equity, that little house was transformed. It grew from a simple structure into a cherished home with lush green grass, a sturdy fence, a carport, and a second floor with two additional rooms. A small 10' x 10' playhouse was even built in the backyard for the kids. Though it wasn’t a grand mansion, the cozy space was always warm and joyful, especially during holiday gatherings.
After the Y2K scare, an unexpected opportunity arose. The housing market surged, and we decided to sell our beloved $20,000 home for $160,000—a blessing that marked the start of a new chapter. We moved our family to Kingwood, a vibrant community just north of Houston, where we found our forever home. We've been proud Kingwood residents ever since.
Our journey taught us the importance of maintaining a well-kept home. A safe and happy home enriches lives and, as we learned, can bring unexpected rewards. This experience inspired us to establish Brazos Home Services to provide quality plumbing services to families in our cherished community.

Tibu’s lifelong passion for fixing and building naturally led him to pursue a career in plumbing, a trade through which he’s supported his family in Houston, Texas. With extensive experience in new construction and service work across the city, Tibu has honed his skills over many years, becoming a trusted name in the industry.
As a Licensed Master Plumber with over two decades of experience, Tibu’s expertise is second to none. Driven by a shared dream, he and his son founded Brazos Home Services, making their vision of a family-oriented plumbing business a reality.

Meet Mark: Our everything Manager
Mark leads our business development and branding at Brazos Home Services. With a knack for connecting with customers and creating effective advertising, he’s key to building the Brazos brand.
Before joining us, Mark worked in Risk Management & Insurance, gaining a solid understanding of business operations. While studying Finance at the University of Houston, he took on leadership roles and helped small business owners with their day-to-day challenges.
Inspired by mentors in the Home Service industry, Mark teamed up with his father to start Brazos Home Services. After careful planning and some calculated risks, they built the business with a focus on serving the community.
When he's not working, Mark enjoys road trips across Texas, listening to country music, and catching football games. He loves finding new spots to explore away from the city.

Choco, our lovable chocolate lab, has become the heart and soul of Brazos Home Services. Rescued and welcomed into our family, Choco brings joy and companionship to our workplace every day.
Growing up in the shop, Choco has developed a curious nature and a sharp nose for interesting scents. When he’s not exploring, you’ll find him relaxing under a shady tree, enjoying some well-deserved downtime.
More than just a mascot, Choco embodies the spirit of loyalty and happiness that we cherish. While he might not handle the plumbing, he’s a vital part of our team, brightening our days and creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who visits.
